Our clients had just purchased a townhouse in a condominium in Puteaux. The owner’s mother wanted to offer them a garden design to their liking and corresponding to their lifestyle with their little boy. The house benefits from a space of around twenty m2 located at the rear with access exclusively from inside the house. It consists of an outdoor terrace with gravelled slabs and a part in open ground and benefits from a south-west exposure.

The project focused on creating a custom-made wooden terrace, larger and integrating several spaces dedicated to specific uses:

• Rest and lie down in the sun to read
• Eating as a family of three… or more, with a flexible space that does not encroach too much on the garden
• Cultivate flowers, fruits and vegetables, thanks to a vegetable garden space as well as the possibility of vertical cultivation (hanging on the fence) particularly for herbs
• A space dedicated to the little boy is provided to accommodate games adapted to his age: sandbox, small swimming pool, etc.
